Therapy By Suzanne

About Me

Taking the first step towards therapy can feel daunting, and finding the right person to talk to is important. My aim is to offer a calm, warm and supportive space where you can feel heard, understood and accepted without judgement.

I believe that you are the expert in your own life. Therapy is a collaborative process, and I work alongside you at your own pace, creating a safe and confidential space where you can explore whatever is bringing you to therapy.

My approach is warm, compassionate and person-centred, with an awareness of the connection between our thoughts, emotions and bodies. Where appropriate, I may incorporate mindfulness, breathing techniques, cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) and somatic awareness to help you become more connected to yourself, manage difficult emotions and develop a greater resilience.

I work with adults experiencing a range of difficulties, including anxiety, depression, stress, low mood, grief and loss, relationship difficulties, low self-esteem and issues around confidence and personal growth. You don’t need to have everything figured out before coming to counselling—sometimes simply having a safe space to talk can be the beginning of making sense of what you’re experiencing.

Alongside my counselling and psychotherapy training I bring over 20 years of professional experience in management. This has given me a deep understanding of the pressures and challenges that come with work, responsibility, relationships and the demands of everyday life. I believe this experience also helps me to meet people where they are with empathy, understanding and without judgement.

I hold a BSc (Hons) in Counselling & Psychotherapy and am a pre-accredited member of the Irish Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (IACP).

I offer therapy both face-to-face and online, providing a confidential space where you can take time for yourself, wherever you feel most comfortable.

You don’t have to go through things alone.
